FTX Central on wrong mode

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what damage it causes if you install a patch(es) for a local airport in the australia area, while the FTX Central is set to North America- does this cause the need to reinstall everything?

Or rephrased- does one need to go back and switch FTX modes and reinstall the patches on the appropriate mode?

Hello, Brendan

I suggest you switch to Default and apply, then to Australia and apply and then reinstall the patches. That said I don’t know if what you did before can mess up or overwrite other FSX files or at the FSX\Scenery folder.

Check your North America sceneries to verify they are OK.

Don’t forget the latest ORBX libraries should always be installed last; ie. After installing all packages or patches (unless the last one you install already contains the latest ORBX libraries)

Cheers.

Ramón.
