December 9, 201213 yr I cannot seem to get any of the buttons on my Saitek yoke to work using LINDA. Is it because the Saitek drivers are still installed or am I just doing something wrong? For example if I want to set the A1 rocker button for elevator down I: 1. Go into LINDA under the JOYSTICKS tab 2. At button 3 in the ON PRESS column I use: LIB FSX Controls -> Flight Controls -> Trim ELEVATOR Down When I test it out in FSX nothing happens though. I suspect it is because I have the default Saitek drivers installed; however, before I go removing software I wanted to ask and make sure it is not something else that I am doing incorrectly. December 26, 201213 yr Sorry, maybe I've overseen it. I don't know what the Saitek software is doing. In any case you should ensure that you have no double assignments, e.g. Saitek Software says Trim down and you assign trim up ^_^ Have you made sure to assign to the right button? Get on the joysticks tab and press one of your joystick buttons, LINDA will then automatically jump to this button - just in case, you have more then one device. Have you assigned the elevator trim right? Meaning to have it repeated? with just a single signal you will probably not recognize any movement? --- beside this, I'm currently out of ideas and yes, next step would be to uninstall Saitek Software and try (if you are not able to disable it in an other way) Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
December 27, 201213 yr Author When I press a button on my yoke or even my VRInsight MCP II no button in LINDA lights up. Is something wrong? The buttons only light up when I put my mouse on them in the LINDA control panel. Edward Smoker Sr.
