December 11, 201213 yr Does anyone know how I can make the .qwl file for the paints that I have made for the Quality WIngs 757-200?
June 27, 201312 yr My guess is that if you already have repaints made and ready for packaging, forego the qwl route and just create a copy of an existing paint in the aircraft folder, rename it and then replace the files in it with yours. I believe that the qwl file is basically an automated packaging/installer for folks who don't like installing paints manually. I recently did this for an updated Air France paint i made for the PMDG 747-400. When installing liveries from them, they have exe files, which are similar to the QW packages. Again, all I did was make a copy of the folder the AF paint was in, rename it to something new, replace the old with new, updated the sircraft.cfg and everything came through fine.
