Alaska Central Express Flight Plans

Featured Replies

Hello.I'm wondering if some can answer this.I am trying to use the newly released flight plans for Alaska Central Express by Steve Lewis & Chuck Ford but I think something isn't working right. After installing the only place I see any of these aircraft is at PANC. I thought maybe the airport parking at all of the other locations couldn't handle the plans but after checking that isn't the case.Is anyone else using these and have found these aircraft at any of the other airports they are supposed to be flying in & out of? If so, could you please let me know which airport and at what time you see them there?I was going to contact the author directly but he didn't put any contact info in the documentation that came with the plans. Thanks very much!!!

Carob....1st, the only plans i see are the ones i'm using that were released back in February. if those are the ones your using, then i find an ACE B1900 parked at Bethel AK (PABE) at 15:27 GMT on Monday.just look at the plans themselves and you can figure out where and when to look for a plane. in the flight i mentioned above, it flightplan line reads like this: PABE,1/15:30:00 that means it will be leaving PABE on mondays at 15:30. just set your time a few minutes earlier.hope this helps.chris

Yeah, I guess it was back in February. Sorry about that. But, I've done all of that. I've gone to several different airports where they are supposed to be and gone through the entire day and still haven't seen any. If you can find another airport besides PANC where you actually see one of these mark the time and let me know what it is. I want to go to the same airport at the same time here and see if I see the same thing.

use my example above.go to Bethel at 15:27 GMT and make sure its on a monday.chris

Nope. It's not there. For me at least. Do you think you could send me your ttools files for this airline so I can compare? If you have these plans in a separate .bgl file maybe you could just send me that.

interesting. if you say you see the ACE aircraft at PANC, then its not a problem with the aircraft itself. if could be a problem with the AFCAD file for the smaller AK airports. there's a file available in the library that contains a bunch of smaller AK airports...you may want to make sure you've installed all of those.another thing you could try is to go to Bethel a few minutes BEFORE the plane is scheduled to arrive and watch the skies and make sure it actually lands....if the parking isnt available it will just disappear from the runway...but at least you will see it land.chris

As stated in the orig post, I thought it may be the AFCAD file as well but it's not.If you can tell me when the aircraft is due to arrive there I will do that. I'm not very good at deciphering those flight plans.
