3d clouds become flat in fs2k4.....

Featured Replies

I get that too.

I believe the stratus and cirrus clouds are not modeled in 3d by MS so everybody will have these in 2d..Cumulus however are, as far as Im concerned these are the only ones in 3d I have seen so far (including CB's ofcourse)I might be wrong, maybe Chris Willis knows..regards Shocky :-hah

Hi, Shocky is right at some degrees, cirrus are 100% flat which is ok, The stratus are in 3d and cumulus in 3d, but if the thickness of the stratus is thin, you will see thin stratus which is correct, try to increase the height of the stratus, you will see these bigger.matthew_lue there is nothing wrong, it is just because your stratus are thin in height from real weather or your manual setting.. LOL Just because the clouds are flat doesn't mean they are 'wrong'. Nature does have flat clouds too. That looks like an accurate depiction stratocumulus to me. A real meterologist might know more. :)

Stratocumulus Startisformis mebbe ;-) little off topic, but are mammatus clouds included in FS..just wondering .. what cloud types are included actually ? :-) :-waveshocky :-hahEUROPE UNITED"Can you hear them? my 1000 words..."
