Why? Who knows. It's too bad he couldn't just give you the answer you were looking for.Seeing by the number of posts that you're relatively new here I hope you won't let a few loose screws keep you from visiting/participating. Most folks here are quite reasonable. You just have to filter out the rest.Cheers!

When I edit values in FS9's various .cfg files I usually copy the line or section, paste it just above the line I want to change, then comment it out with // and change the uncommented line(s). Makes it easier to keep track of what I'm doing. You should still make a backup though.DavidThanks for the info on editing terrain.cfg. That's one I never heard of. I havn't had any real problem with CTD's yet, but you never know.

>Alex Pugh, "I'm not a bitter old man".Jeroen,Alex wasn't referring to you but rather the other Jeroen in this thread. Don't be put off by the occasional crap you encounter in forums. Most people really try to be helpful.David

Here's a link to the original post from FSGenesis with all the explanations, and also somewhere in the thread the translation into english that I did back then, explaning what Holger did, and how to install it. Hope this helps.BestGrahame (EDHL)http://portal.fsgenesis.net/index.php?name...ight=smell+snow
