I just finished my second attempt at flying the PMDG J4100 using the fmc flight plan LGKR - LMML. I had just reached cruise alt when every froze and a message appeared: FSX has encountered a fatal error.

I I have Aerosoft Corfu(LGKR) scenery installed.

Yesterday exactly the same thing happened but I had REX real weather running. Today I tried the same flight without REX.

Other than a freeware paint job(Fedex) from the Avsim library and EzDOK I have no other add ons.

Anyone else have a crash like this?

What are your computer specifications? It could be a memory issue. I used to experience occasional freezes even though I had 4.0 GB of memory. Some beginning troubleshooting steps could be:

Adding HIGHMEMFIX=1 under [GRAPHICS] in FSX.cfg.

Adding UIAutomationCore.dll to your FSX main folder.

Running the Flight1 Registry Repair Tool.
