buildings and trees replaced by black shapes

Featured Replies

Hi was wondering if some one could point me in the right direction or a solution, thought it was a orbox scenery thing but i noticed it now on non orbox sceneries, the problem is that on most airports some of the trees and buildings are replaced by black triangler or square shape objects i can live with this. I tried sliding down my sliders etc it didnt solve the issue

Sounds like you've lost a texture somewhere.

Is this on default or pay/freeware? Gerrish trees might be you answer.

Worth a try.

Hi,

I had this exact problem the other day, I copied over the textures from a virgin install of FSX and that solved my problem. I was lucky in that I had made a copy of my FSX instalation before I started to install any addons. I learned from bitter experience from my many years with FS9 and addons messing with default textures.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Peter
