  1. Hi, I had this exact problem the other day, I copied over the textures from a virgin install of FSX and that solved my problem. I was lucky in that I had made a copy of my FSX instalation before I started to install any addons. I learned from bitter experience from my many years with FS9 and addons messing with default textures. Hope this helps. Regards, Peter
  2. Hi Flo, Thanks for that, I knew it had to be missing textures but had no idea which, I had copied over B737_800_Interior.dds and Pilots_737.dds as being the only ones I could readily identify as possible cockpit textures but after your reply I compared the texture and texture.1 folders and transfered everything that wasn't in texture.1, problem solved. Thank you for your help and takeing the time to reply, much appreciated. Regards Peter
  3. Hi Word Not Allowed, There was a post on the FSDT foum about the plateaux effect and a fix, that was for FS9 at the time, don't know wether there is a similar fix for FSX, might be worth a look. Peter
  4. Hi, Hoping someone can help. I have just come over to the darkside having used FS9 up till now. I bought FSX when it first came out and like many was dissapointed and left it dormant. Three computers later and I thought I would give it another try and so far it is running very well on my system and I am thinking of going over fully to FSX. In order to test various items I am running the Posky 737 and have transfered the Microsoft FSX 737 panel in to the Posky plane and have a problem, the 2d panel is fine but the VC appears to be missing textures on the facia. All the gauges and buttons are there but just a plain black texture on the panel background no button names etc. Anybody out there got any ideas as to how I can solve this problem. Thanks in advance. Peter
  5. Do you use world of ai? If you do look atbSpanair A320s.
  6. Hi,I use AgenT also with autotrees sparingly with a lot of tidying up afterwards as I find it to be too inacurate for my liking, sometimes it is good sometimes it is way off. I too have done some work around EGLL with extensions way to the west and east covering London out to way past Canary Wharf and east London, Luton, Liverpool through to Manchester, Blackpool out towards Preston, Barrow-in-Furness (my home town but not where I live now) The north East North of Newcastle down through Co Durham covering Durham Tees Valley (Teesside) Middlesbrough Hartlepool down to south of Dishforth and west to Bishop Auckland (where I live now) plus in the north all the way across country to Carlisle, Leeds Bradford east through Humberside and south to Chesterfield, Birminham Airport extending in all directions approx 15Km parts of the Isle of Man from the airport North plus many more I can't remember.Luton was my first area and I look back now it wasn't very good, still learning, will go back one day and will redo. Agns are a mixture of tree only, tree plus buildings and tree, buildings and lights.Regards,Peter
  7. Hi,I am an occasional poster here, although I haven't posted anything in a long time. I am currently sticking with FS9 mainly because of the investment in time and money that I have made in the sim. I am a user of Horizon VFR photographic scenery generation X England and Wales. Since the demise of the VFR Addons Database web site I have been busy producing agn and xml files for the above product at the rate of between 200 and 500 a month depending on time available. I currently have in excess of 55,000 a lot that I have downloaded from the internet from various sites and authors but I have in excess of 20,000 that I have produced myself. I would be interested because of the time it takes to produce these files in sharing the files I have with anybody else out there that would like to receive them and share theirs with me. I hope I am not violating any rules of the site or copy write agreements as I am only offering to send and receive agn and xml files.Peter
  8. Hi Tom,I can't be of too much help here as I am having major problems with my new computer and Haven't even got FS installed at the moment. I can however tell you one thing for certain when the Freeware GA Traffic compiled it will have picked up just about anything in your aircraft folder and assigned it flight plans as GA, had the same problem myself. It is easy if a little time consuming to solve, in the GA Traffic program there is a section which lists all the models available and assigned to be used as GA Traffic. Just go into that section and deselect any item you don't want the program to use as AI.Regards.Peter
  9. BBQ Hide AI for FS2002 2004
  10. Hi James,Do you have any world of AI packages installed? In the Spanair pack there was an aircraft with a problem texture which caused a crash if it was present at the airport.Regards,Peter.
  11. Hi,I have it, it is really good and includes EGLC London City. I can get 20fps with this scenery Horizon VFR Photoscenery and extensive autogen.Hope this helps.Regards.Peter.
  12. Hi guys,Thank you both for that, yes I miss read the post. I have the page you linked to bookmarked and downloaded have found it really helpful in the past.Regards,Peter.
  13. Hi,Can I ask what application you are using to open terrain.dll? Thanks in advance.Regards,Peter
  14. Hi Bryan,Congratulations on your new addition, he sure will keep you busy.To be honest it is so long ago now that I posted this that I have had a couple of reinstalls since then due to computer problems and I am not sure now what the problem was with your updates when I posted this question. I think it was a problem with cockpit views. However you are saying that I can just use your modified FDEs with the updated Overland aircraft within FS9.Thanks for the reply and good luck with your new family member.Regards.Peter
  15. Hi,Not sure whether it is the case with this scenery as I don't have it, but with Horizon VFR photographic scenery for the UK, stock autogen is suppressed ie no autogen, as the stock autogen that would be generated would not fit the photographic scenery. There are many flight sim addon sites where you can get replacement autogen for the uk, not sure whether this is the case for the Netherlands. Maybe someone else will reply that can point you in the right direction.Regards,Peter
