December 20, 201213 yr Hello! I'm gonna do a around the world flight, and i'm looking for airports that is worth a visit. Any suggestions? Best regards, Kim.
December 20, 201213 yr Depends on the Aircraft you are using. I'm mainly C-130 Hercules, so have to be a bit choosy, Started UK, worked my way up north, Iceland, Greenland, Canada (Gander), S shape across the US to L.A., Hawaii, S shape across the Pacific, New Zealand, Tazmania, S shape across Australia. Next part of the plan is Papua New Guinea, work up through to Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Himalayas, India, Sri Lanka, Not sure through which way Across Africa, back up through Europe to home. Will have to work another route to cover Russia, and South America, and more of Canada

December 28, 201213 yr Awww Sara how could you miss Adelaide Australia! ________________ I have done a world tour twice now, once in the MD-11 and once in the NGX, most locations were as good as each other but some did stand out like Rio de Janeiro, Nice France, Salt Lake City, Male Maldives, Saint Maarten and many more I probably have forgotten off the top of my head. There was also a bunch of airports that seemed like a total waste to go to (default scenery) due to the runways being plonked in place without any care like at Antananarivo Madagascar and a bunch more in around in Africa and southern America. I always try to go to new cities on my tours but it is starting to get difficult hehe. I have some ideas for when the PMDG 777 gets here. Jay Vorkapic
December 28, 201213 yr Good point Viper, I'll get that one when I go touring in a small plane round Aus. To be honest, my favourite are the Pacific Islands, bit of the old eyeball flight plans, and nice short strips (well some of them) with little room for error.
