Wilco and Aerosoft Airbus differences?

Featured Replies

What are the main differences between the Wilco and Aerosoft Airbus offerings? I have ploughed through the recent threads, but am still unsure what the significant differences in features are.

Both companies have provided products which have given me great enjoyment in the past, so let's keep it civil - I'm not trying to provoke a flame war :)

Thanks for any advice.

Theoretically, both are pretty decent Airbus sims, although the new Airbus X Extended is a bit ahead, not because its newer, but because (it seems) there was a lot more time spend on simulating the day to day operation of an Airbus A320/A321 computer system (which in real life is very complex, not that other airplanes aren't complex either). Its kind of difficult to get into the difference between both's simulation of the computer systems. Plus graphically I find the Airbus X Extended to be much better than Wilco's. Wilco has the A330/A340 which Aerosoft doesn't have, yet! So if you want a pretty decent long range airbus then you could take Wilco.

Check their product pages or Youtube videos and they may give you some indications of what they offer!

Hope that helped somewhat! :)
