My suggestion is that after you buy the PMDG and download it, immediatley put the file on a CD (Writable CD-R or DVD-R)

 

Check the CD version can be re-ported back to your PC and run this as your installation file (checking the backup isn't corrupted.)

 

Then put your CD away in a memorable place, clearly marked as the PMDG 737NGX.
