Using the Aerosoft X Extended PaintKit?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've decided to ask here because i think i'll get a better response. Apparently they don't support the use of paintkits at aerosoft and so won't give any support on their, so i'm not goign to bother.

Anyway, to my question.

I haven't got a clue on how to use the paintkit for the Airbus Extended. I have no problem with PMDG paintkits but its these aerosoft ones I just don't know how to use.

You see with the PMDG paintkits you get a MASTER psd file to which the whole plane is on and you would simply paint the aircraft and then cut the sections and put it onto the correct sections.

Now, with these aerosoft ones you don't get a master psd file, you just get the sections. So how in gods name are you meant to actually design a paint that fits together correctly.

I'm going to be using Photoshop CS6 so does anyone know of any videos or knows how you would go about doing these sorts of paint kits because every other one I've done come with a full aircraft template and the sections.

Thanks in Advance!

If you know how to use Photoshop then why don't you make your own master?
