December 25, 201213 yr When saving a flight and making it the "default" flight, I have selected an outside view of the AC. However, when loading the default flight, the opening window I get is of the 2D panel, not the outside view I originally selected. Is there a setting in the FSX cfg file ( or any other folder ) that determines what "view" is called by FSX for the opening screen, or is the default view always going to be the 2D panel?
December 27, 201213 yr The situation line in the UserFace section of the FSX.cfg shoulds the address to the default flight. In my case it's SITUATION=FLIGHTS\OTHER\FLTSIM. The folder is located in the Main FSX directory. Best regards, Jim Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! January 1, 201313 yr Author Hi Jim: Just caught your response. Here is what the "Situation" line in my FSX cfg looks like. SITUATION=C:\Users\Chris\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\KORH This is my default flight, but as mentioned in my original post, after selecting a spot view and saving it as the default flight, when re-opening FSX, instead of the spot view showing, the 2D panel shows. Do you know if this can be corrected with additional text entry after the KORH entry? Thanks, and Happy New Year. Chris
