VC Cockpit too zoomed in

Hi All,

 

I applied the patches and configs, etc. according to Steve's and Paul's excellent guides and all appears well (not that I had a problem with DX9) but when I start up my VC is so far zoomed in that my nose touches the cockpit instruments! I've zoomed back as far as it'll go but that still not far enough. Any ideas as to a) what's happening and B) how to fix?

If you made a new fsx.cfg - you may not have "WideViewAspect=True" in your [Display] settings...

Why can't you - or shift/- to zoom out. I set vc cockpit zoom @ 60?
