737 NGX problems

HIGHMEMFIX=1 and UIAutomationCore.dll almost always improve the stability of add-ons on all systems. The effects of other performance tweaks are debatable (and hence some tweaks are unnecessary), but these two tweaks are almost universally accepted as essential on all installations other than those of P3D.

I know it's difficult to believe that tweaks are necessary for FSX to run stably, but unfortunately, in order to accommodate its outdatedness, they are. It's your choice, but I can assure you that they are safe when used properly (specifically, when UIAutomationCore.dll is downloaded from a reputable source such as Word Not Allowed's Guide) and that trying them is certainly more convenient than having to reinstall completely (after which you will still probably experience similar issues).

I delete the fsx.cfg then let FSX rebuild a new one,did the tweaks from Word Not Allowed's guide, installed the UIAutomationCore.dll and so far the problem is gone

I been playing with the 737 for like a hour ,minimizing to the desktop, and changing views and no problem.

I really hope this fixed it for good but i have to wait see. :Praying:

Great!

While I have also felt an improvement in stability with these two tweaks (and have experienced very few crashes), I wouldn't try purposely looking for errors (i.e., using menus ten times more frequently than usual, etc.). While I am not implying that you are doing this, I believe these tweaks are not perfect, and very infrequent errors—which may occur naturally due to the nature of computing—may still occur. Just do not disappoint yourself by hunting for problems.

Hope you are able to enjoy FSX better now!
