I have been using Airport Design Editor 9x to fix some things at my local airport KCKB. I added our new taxiway to the aeronautics school area but can not flatten and clear the autogen trees. The hill and area was cleared several years ago and now has several buildings. ADE talks of flattens or flatten areas but I have no idea how to go about it. Is there an easy to use freeware program to fix this area? ADE would be great if there were more aircraft objects to place in the scenery. I thought of using Abacus Scenery Shortcut but after several attemps to get the Tools and Addons menue to work I gave up. I tried the several methods mentioned in several forums with no sucess.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated;

FS9 or FSX?

 

You can add more objects to ADE if you wish via the Library Object Manager
