I curious what meaning this warning? Amber suqare with flap number on left corner PFD,most happened during landing especially ON FINAL,i was search manual for this situation,but can't find out.

Hi,

 

The amber boxed flap position means that the flaps disagree with the flap handle.

The reason for this could be:

-Technical fault of the flaps

-Flap protection mechanism doesn't extend flaps because the aircraft is traveling to fast for the flaps to extend to the selected position. The reason for that is that you tried to extend the flaps to early.

Ok,thanks you Jonathan,i will notice that again,and seem i need to select flap position slowly on next time.
