January 3, 201313 yr Hi folks and happy new year to you all! Question? As I understand it, when running FSX, I should have the BIOS set to NO hyperthreading? What about all my other games? Of which there are now many? They're all quite recent FPS games. Is it worth turning HT back on for those? January 3, 201313 yr Turning off HT for FSX dosn't really help FSX itself, it helps your ability to OC because less cores means less heat and that gives you a higher OC. And because FSX is older technology it only uses one core so there is no disadvantage in turning HT off. Newer games use all the cores, so you would want HT on. But then you would have an issues with your OC, having to lower it a bit. A simple question becomes complicated lol.
