Opus cams

Featured Replies

Hello are there any videos showing the use of the cam part of the opus package ,I have tried Google search with no luck ,many thanks for reading

peter

Why don't you install the demo and see it yourself on your system? I guess the demo has full functions and is just time limited. New options are added every day or so, videos can become old quickly ;)

Hi thanks for taking time to answer ,have been using Ezcam ,and which finally found quite easy to set up/use ,but did not seem consistent ,after uninstalling Ezcam with uninstaller that is supposed to deep scan reg for files etc ,I have views left over these pop up now and again so didn't want to put a trial on my pc in case it ends up leaving bits behind

Hi mate, I use both EZDOK and Opus, or I did until I finally found out how to smooth out the camera movement, now I only use Opus! Best purchase I have "ever" made for FSX. Trust me you will not be disappointed. Also if you use EZDOK at the mo, just uninstall, but leave the folder intact. This will allow you to reinstall if the Opus cams are not to your liking. I admit Idid this two or three times until I found out how to smooth the Opus cams.

Before disabling EZCA to test Live Camera in Opus, the EZCA configuration utility must be run and the "Restore" function selected to restore all camera views to FSX default, otherwise EZCA camera definitions are not removed from the aircraft config files.

A quick question on the same subject (didn't want to start a new thread):

I'm I able to use only the Opus camera feature without using Opus injecting the weather to FSX? (and yes, I know Opus weather is great, but I'm planning to stick with my weather engine of choice).

Thanks for the help!

You can use the cams without the weather if you really want to but our Live Camera DHM effects are intelligently tied into our weather, anyway you could try it and see.

Thank you Cheryl for the answer. Then I'll just have to send you feature request for the weather engine, so I can change my "weather engine of choice" ;)

I must say that your speed of progress and amount of support is very admirable. Thanks again!

Hi Jarrko

You could still try LIve Camera in the free demo software to see how it works with your weather engine.
