Getting to grips with tutorial 2 at the moment.

 

 

 

 

1) I can't seem to start the sim in the 'cold and dark' setting. Even when saving it in the panel save in the CDU. Whenever I start, the engines are running and the panels are up and running. The 2nd tutorial suggests I start the 'Tutorial 2 #2 EHAM-LOWI' option .

 

2) Where is the 'GENERATOR 1 and 2' switches on the overhead panel ?...having real difficulty finding it.

 

3) Is there a way to start tutorial 2 with all the panels and MCP setup correctly allready ?...I have tried the other tutorials like takeoff...pushback..none of them have the cockpit setup ..whats the point of them ?

Have you tried saving/setting your default aircraft (which should not be any complex payware aircraft) to a cold-and-dark or cold-and-dark-equivalent state?

 

2) Where is the 'GENERATOR 1 and 2' switches on the overhead panel ?...having real difficulty finding it.

They should be in the second overhead column from the left under the ground power switch.

 

While I have training materials for the B737, I do not own the PMDG B737, so I can not help you with the tutorials.
