January 6, 201313 yr I use a dedicated monitor for instruments when flying. With a G1000 equipped plane such as the Mooney, I open the main panel, reduce it a little then add 3 more windows (MFD, Radio and ATC). However, whenever I click in the main panel it comes to the foreground and covers the other windows. I saw an article by the late (regretted) OPA entitled <Keeping PopUp windows visible when changing views> and thought that might be the answer but it's not so. Is there a way to either force the main panel always to the back or force the other windows to always stay on top?
