FSX Question

Featured Replies

I have a friend with a 256M video card that is having trouble with graphics and memory running planes like Dino's F-35. He asked me if deleting some of his planes, and extra textures of planes that he wants to keep, will help him in frame rates and graphics. I don't remember how much RAM he has but he does get Out of Memory faults. I always thought that FSX only loads the particular plane and texture and that deleting extra planes or extra textures would not help with graphics or frame rates. Am I right or wrong? I used to have a 256M video card and I have hundreds of planes each of which have multiple textures. I never deleted nay of them. Thanks, Bob.

No. Your buddy needs to lower his settings and increase his virtual ram.
