Ngx tail / engine go black?

Featured Replies

So yesterday I downloaded the new virgin Australia liverie for my ngx

I used it to fly from Brisbane to Sydney, everything was all good, I was enjoying the sexy look of this new liverie, then all of a sudden when I landed at Sydney I decided to go to the wing view to notice that the engine had gone from a white color to a black color, so I decided to go right out of the plane to check out what is happening when I saw both engines gone black as well as the tail black also, I continued taxiing to the gate! When I got to the gate I pressed the Ctrl 12 button on my gsx menu to Deboard the passengers when all of the sudden my cockpit panels froze, I couldn't move the fmc from page to page, I couldn't select an altitude. I thought it might of been a liverie problem considering I always did this route with the old virgin blue liverie and nothing of this ever happened. I re downloaded the liverie and this morning it did the same thing?

The old virgin blue liverie is fine?

But the new virgin Australia liverie is not?

Your comments and thoughts to this problem will be much appreciated!!

What are your computer specifications?

On my old computer, a 2008 Apple iMac, I would experience similar issues (e.g., black 2-D panels, blackening/graying of various aircraft and scenery textures, inability to take screen shots, etc.) while using McPhat Studios high-definition repaints for the PMDG B747. After purchasing a new computer, I no longer experience any similar issues. Therefore, I suspect that they were related to memory insufficiency, even though I had 4.0 GB of memory and was using the UIAutomationCore.dll tweak.
