January 9, 201313 yr This is probably a dumb question, but why are the ILS frequencies for runways NOT listed on the approach plate? Isn't this one of the most needed things? Or am I just missing it? I know I can go to FSCharts for them, but what do real world pilots do?
January 9, 201313 yr In the sim, the map will show the frequencies. On the charts, all runways with frequencies should be available and shown. For every runway with an ILS, there's a chart. Maybe there's some airport overview too, listing all navaids and comm freqs. The layout may depend on the chart supplier in use. You can look up and download charts here for example. http://www.airnav.com/airport/KBOS Or did I get your question the wrong way?
January 9, 201313 yr It's there... right on the approach chart... FAA - ILS or LOC RWY 23R Indianapolis Intl (KIND)
