January 10, 201313 yr Hi Everyone, Recently, I've been trying to manually build approaches for Teniente R. Marsh Airport (SCRM), In Antarctica. But, when I enter the airport SCRM in to the RTE page on the FMC, Ive been getting many various errors. Ive been able to overcome all but one; "ERR AT RNW11 LINE 36". I have looked at Terry Yingling's tutorial, which has helped a lot but it has not solved my last problem. I was hoping you guys could help me out. Here is what I've done, I'd appreciate if you could help me nail down what I've done wrong. //SCRM (ISLE REY JORGE-MARTIN AB)//Worldwide Navaid Database for PMDG //Exported via DFD v1.0 12.1214 //Software copyright © 2012 Richard Stefan, NAVData-Service //Support available via forum at http://forum.navigraph.com // //Data provided by Navigraph - www.navigraph.com //Data copyright © Navtech Inc //This data may not be used, recompiled, interpreted or //distributed for any purpose without the written consent //of Navigraph. // //The contents of this database is dated and must not be //used for real world navigation as it is unlawful and //unsafe to do so. // //------------------------------------------------------ //AIRAC Cycle : 1213 (13/DEC/2012 - 09/JAN/2013) - Rev.2 //------------------------------------------------------ FIXES FIX TEMPA LATLON S 62 5.29191 W 59 28.07194 FIX IR20C LATLON S 62 3.216585 W 59 37.735388 FIX IR20B LATLON S 61 56.151371 W 59 26.212459 FIX IR45A LATLON S 61 36.903271 W 59 59.656071 FIX KRILL LATLON S 61 12.36666 W 60 41.18334 FIX IR30A LATLON S 61 48.468551 W 59 39.673582 FIX TAKAN LATLON S 62 22.864076 W 58 38.200599 ENDFIXES RNWS RNW 11 RNW 29 ENDRNWS APPROACHES APPROACH VOR11 FIX IR45A AT OR ABOVE 11000 FIX IR20B AT OR ABOVE 5000 FIX IR20C FIX TEMPA AT OR ABOVE 3500 RNW11 KEEP TRK TRANSITION KRILL FIX KRILL AT OR ABOVE 11000 APPROACH VOR29 FIX IR30A AT OR ABOVE 11000 FIX IR20B AT OR ABOVE 8500 NAVAID IRJ 3500 FIX TAKAN AT OR ABOVE 3500 RNW29 KEEP TRK TRANSITION KRILL FIX KRILL AT OR ABOVE 11000 ENDAPPROACHES Cheers, Alex
January 14, 201313 yr When writing custom procedures it's the simple syntax mistakes that can drive you nuts, especially when you've been staring at it for hours. I'm not sure this is the problem but try putting a space between RNW and 11 as shown below in red: APPROACH VOR11 FIX IR45A AT OR ABOVE 11000 FIX IR20B AT OR ABOVE 5000 FIX IR20C FIX TEMPA AT OR ABOVE 3500 RNW 11 KEEP TRK TRANSITION KRILL FIX KRILL AT OR ABOVE 11000 Same for the 29 approach. - Jev McKee, AVSIM member since 2006.
