August 12, 200421 yr For the longest time, I've wanted to fly in multiplayer mode and take people on rides. Or maybe sit in the back of a C-130 and parachute out of it. I've exhausted my normal means of researching this topic, I'm hoping that you all can help. Is this possible?
August 12, 200421 yr Author Not quite sure what you're saying here, Rebel, and I don't think anyone else is either judging by all the responses! You can fly in Observer mode in multiplayer and ride along in someone else's cockpit. You can play follow-my-leader and get right up behind any other player in multiplayer. Software is under development (to be released this year) which will enable you to "share" a cockpit. So there, at least, are some of the things you can do in FS.Parachuting? No problem. There are parachutist add-ons available, both as chaps that jump out of an aircraft in a stream of chutes and individual flying parachutists where you are the jumper. Can you run down the deck of a C130 and jump on the green on a static line? Well, no, I don't think so yet, but let's keep some imagination going here, shall we?I hope you find what you're looking for, in any case.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM

August 13, 200421 yr At this point, flying in someone else's cockpit doesn't work. Following the instruction doesn't result in entering the cockpit.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
August 13, 200421 yr Author It does not work in FS9 (although it's supposed to, I think) whereas it did in FS2002, I think. FS9 seems to have stuffed a number of things in multiplayer, actually. We used to be able to see all other aircrafts' landing lights for example, but no more. Pity that.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
