Here is the issue. I'm flying for a couple hours (the aircraft doesn't matter) and I'll go to change the flight plan or anything requiring going off the flight for a bit and when I come back to the flight I have no video, just a black screen. The program is still running, I have audio and ATC works but no Video and it won't come back. This doesn't happen every time but enough to be really annoying. I can't pin it to any one flight or conditions.

I recently had to reinstall windows and reinstalled FSX along with everything else. I didn't have this issue before the reinstall. I use Nvidia Inspector and use the recommended 4xs settings. I'm using Bojotes config recommendations.

I'm running windows 7 on a Dell Alienware about 8 months old. I-7 sandy bridge Extreme, 16G Ram, nvidia 580 card. I use AS2012 and UT 2 as major add ons.

I'm just looking for some places to investigate.

Hi PW: This sounds as if it may be related to the UIAutomationCore.dll issue that crops up once a month with Windows 7.

Go here, download it into the root folder of FSX, unzip it, then rename it to the name above - Ok?

You do not have to register this dll, nor should it be put into the Windows System32 or the SySWOW64 folders.

All the Best,
