You set the control for the altitude you are flying at not the interior pressure. Up to 25000 feet the system will maintain a pressure of about 10000 feet. The annunciator just tells you when you reach 10000 feet interior pressure.

I have the aerosoft Antarctica Scenery and at many runways the same thing happens. As you are about to touch down the plan jumps a few thousand feet like that. Where there are runways on land and well defined it doesn't happen. It's mainly on runways on ice and poorly defined runways it happens. It also happens when the plane taxi's for takeoff and you hit the runway perimeter the plane is catapulted. straight up. That happens no place in the world other than there and it never happened before that software so whatever it is it involves that specific scenery set.

Maybe you are a psychic and know what I purchased. For your information I purchased the program over a year ago and I have received all the updates and notices and at no time have I been given an inkling of when this thing would be complete. No I'm not bitter. I just think the purchasers are being taken advantage of at this point.

There is an issue of reasonableness. I think in the real world when someone purchases something for future release they think months not years. With most things if the release date is going to be that far ahead there should be some indication of an extreme protracted wait and if that was not stated upfront the buyers should be given options. At some point in this "wait" the company should have at least informed customers of even a ballpark timeframe.

Milviz collected money from folks 1.5 years ago and it's only in Alpha. That's outrageous. I would think twice before buying anything from them that's not ready to go. The flight one king air is the one to buy. I have it and it's a great simulation. Maybe Milviz will be better and maybe some day pigs will fly.

yea it's pretty much a legacy product that is what it is. You won't be seeing any updates or improvements in any of their products. Better to go with the Flight one products.

This whole issue is a very sporadic thing. I had been dealing with it for years since the first more advanced aircraft have come out. Sometimes everything is fine for days and even weeks and then all of a sudden the problem happens out of the blue. You can change views and a host of other things and it seemingly solves the problem and then it happens again. In the end the lights setting solves the problem for just about everyone so that must be the true issue. Of course you might be one of the outliers where it's caused by some other issue.

It has nothing to do with having the lights on or not. In the settings you can choose their 3D lights or default FSX lights. Just having it set to the 3D lights is enough to cause it.

A known issue. Several aircraft had it but Real is the last to have not corrected it. The workaround is kill the 3d lighting effects. That solves the problem for good.

I would say uninstall the global Americas and see what happens. There are many bugs in the Orbx Scenery. I have assorted airports that are in holes or are elevated from surrounding area or taxi and runway signs are duplicated. It's not a major thing and only affects a small number of airports so I just live with it.

I use Edwards Air Force Base. Nice long runways and I set the weather the way I want it.

I have all the dukes and the cabin light is worthless. You get a tiny lighting effect that lights nothing. I just turn on the instrument lights right away. Not a big deal just a minor bug.

Turbo in the 182? There is no Turbo unless I got the cheap model. F1 has the Turbo model.

I suspect you couldn't even figure out how to get in the door of the aircraft and if you did you'd never get the initial circuit breakers and systems operating.

I think the point everyone missed is when the cocky overconfident sim pilot gets behind the controls of a real aircraft the realization that the run down the runway could cost him his life will put a heavy dampening effect on his enthusiasm. Even if he actually has the ability to fly the 172 will he psychologically be able to do it or will panic set in?

You are best turning off the one you don't want to use. Some folks have had issues with both on at the same time.

I use DX 9 and find the ding sound is a warning you are running low on memory. I always get it at the end of a flight in certain areas like Seattle for instance and usually within a short period of time unless I change my auto gen other scenery settings I will run out of memory and the program closes.

That's strange. For me it's a rare occurrence and the entire ATC goes down.

I've found every once in a while the default ATC will just stop working or go haywire for some reason. it's rare but it does happen and once it does you can't get it working again for that flight.

I think what has been shown is there are many factors that can cause this issue. I originally had it in the F1 King Air and in the Duke. F1s mods solved that one for me however I would have it on and off in the Duke. I finally realized my liquid cooling system was inop and my temps were way too high. A new cooling system and the problem with the Duke immediately disappeared and has not returned.

I have windows 7 and that happens at some airports some of the time. Maybe 20% of the time at most.It seems to be very random. Just a minor bug to me.

This started for me 3 days ago and ASN is totally unusable for me. They say it will be fixed by Monday.

Yep, about two days ago it started and now seems to happen every day. The program loads and starts fine but malfunctions at some point.

Even though I got the aircraft some time ago I just started using it. My question is, is this compatible with the FSX default ATC. There doesn't seem to be any mention of it at all from what I can see.Usually the xfill feature allows you to bring the FSX flight planner flight over to the aircraft. If you can how do you do it?
