Hi,

i have a little problem, sometimes my landing lights are flashing, and it also happens with jet smokes

 

but i noticed a weird think when i was cruising:

if i switch on landing lights, they are flashing, but not the jet smokes.

if i switch it off, jet smokes are flashing

 

this also happens in some sceneries runways lights, like aerosoft eddm.

Hi Talek, I noticed this too. Turning lights on and off also seems to affect AI lights (I posted a note about this on Steve's blog...hope it helps with his analysis).

Just wondering do you guys also notice that the tire smoke effect when landing cuts off abruptly in spot view for instance?

 

More specifically when the nose wheel touches down the smoke doesn't fade smoothly away but goes from a big cloud of smoke to nothing suddenly.

I noticed this too, playing around with lights on off, and even different angles affects other lights.

 

No problem in DX9
