January 21, 201313 yr Pretty good freeware plane but I see no cabin lighting at all, is there any? I do see instrument lighting at night but no way to light the cabin itself. Also, the landing lights are crazy bright and poorly done, any fix for this? Or a Shockwave 3D config?

May 24, 201313 yr Author Something is definitely not right. Lights are just as before and there still is no cabin lighting, only gauge lighting.
May 24, 201313 yr Ok, Drop these VC textures into your specific Airline Texture folder. You can back up your original. These are Common VC files so if it works for that livery those files should superseed all your cariers VC texture files in their folders. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/f0qhtheylmpg4oe/XGFYk_MBkO Fingers Crossed for your need.
May 24, 201313 yr Author Ok, I'm finding a bunch out tonight. There are 2 versions of RFP 747-200.The straight up Version2 for FS2004, and the modified version of it for FSX. I'm using the modified version and it was missing all the .fx lighting files. I took the .fx lighting files from V2 FS2004, put them in my Effects folder and voila, cabin lighting now works.Still haven't figured out how to reduce the crazy bright landing lights however.Edit: here are pics. Thanks for trying to help Benzhanger. Can you help fix the landing light over brightness?
May 24, 201313 yr Look into your effects folder. Try different landing lights like Narrow down and No flares and so on. A little time consuming to your like but it might help. But dimming them is to no avail on my part. :(
May 26, 201313 yr Author It would seem that the actual cast light on the ground is compiled and comes from the model itself and thus can not be changed. The .fx files only alter how the physical light point on the model looks.
