just wondering if anyone knows if the default heavy jets might take a bigger frame hit than the default GA aircraft? i flew and landed in KBOS in the 777 and had a BIG frame hit, bad weather also. i tried it again a few times with also the kingair 350 and it wasn't nearly as bad so that's why i'm wondering. i was using real world weather. thanks, william

I don't think it has anything to do with the size of the jet. I think it's more of the panel and the scenery detail. I fly using the POSKY 757, the POSKY DASH-7, KING AIR, B737 (Default) and when I'm in the sky, I get to my locked frame rate (25). On approach, it's about the same frame rate, depending on the airport I'm flying into and how much detail.
