February 4, 201313 yr Bought this yesterday and have to say it really is a lovery aircraft. I'm told by some that Carenado Air files are not very good, but considering i've never flown one, I wouldn't know;-) I do have one item I don't like... The sound volume in the VC is SO quiet, that to get a normal volume there, it's then REALLY loud in outside view. Some have said its correct but dont see how it could be, as the exhausts are RIGHT next to the windows. Anyone know how I can increase the inside volume? I can edit sound files if needed but don't know which files. Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)
February 4, 201313 yr There is a _loud_ soundset that you can replace the default one with in the Carenado folder. Excited about the SR22 I picked this up as well, it flies quite nicely. The max altitude is wrong though; can I just change that in Aircraft.cfg or is it more complicated than that (like recalculating fuel consumption, thrust curves etc. etc.)?
February 4, 201313 yr If you have A2A Accu-Feel you can use that to turn up the volume. Personally, I like the low volume of the B200 engine sound whether it's totally realistic or not. Lose not thine airspeed, lest the ground rise up and smite thee.

In my B200 folder, I see two exe files relating to sound: one called BE900X_2.1_SOUND_SET and the other BE900X_ORIGINAL_SOUND. Nothing like the one you mention:-( In the main Carenado folder, there are only pdf documents. February 4, 201313 yr Have you executed the 2.1 one and checked the difference? I have not as I like the "under noise canceling headphones" simulation.

It makes a little difference to VC volume, but not much.
