Hi guys,

Because I'm currently using two setups on a 2 meter long desk connected to one computer, it's really a pain to drag your wired mouse over from your sim racing setup to your flight sim setup when you're in the mood to do something else and have the wires of the screens, keyboard, lamp, headset and speakers all tangled up with eachother. Therefore, I guess a wireless mouse would some in handy! I decided to buy two of the same mousepads, and with a wireless mouse it's just a matter of putting it over to the other side of the desk and done!

I was looking at the Logitech gaming mice, looks like a good piece of hardware. But I'm looking for a mouse with a specific feature - which I know some mice have: I want the scroll wheel, apart from the default mode, to have a mode where it keeps momentum when you give it a big sweep with your finger. This could be extremely useful when you're trying to put the BARO knob to 5000 ft when landing in LOWI. :Big Grin: Does anybody know if those Logitech mice have this feature?

Secondly, I don't know anything about wireless mice, as I've never used one. I therefore have no idea how it connects to your PC. Via WiFi? Via Bluetooth? For me it's always such a pain to connect wireless devices over Bluetooth, it just doesn't always work or automatically connect like with my Galaxy S3.

I hope you can help me...

Disregard the above post, I found that the Logitech G700 Gaming Mouse has got exactly this feature I'm looking for. I'm getting it right away.

Have you checked out Synergy? You can use one mouse and keyboard for multiple computers.

Sure does, the unlocking of the scroll wheel is extremely handy, my Logitech mouse (M705) I bought almost two years ago has it and I never want to go without it. As for wireless... I will never go back to a wired mouse again either, it has never given me a problem, just plug in the USB thing and turn your mouse on. Might have to install Logitech software, I can't remember but I did.

I said I only have one computer, but two setups connected to it. On the left side of my desk a TV with a Logitech G27 steering wheel, and on the right side of my desk a 27" Asus LED monitor and my yoke + rudder pedals. Both screens are connected to the same PC, and whenever I want to switch from i.e. flightsim to racing sim, I just set the other screen to default. Luckily my desk is long (2 meters (6 ft)) so I can have those two setups right next to eachother. But, I only have one mouse and one keyboard, and they are both wired as I said, and it's always a pain to drag them over. Therefore, wireless stuff would come in handy.

Anyway, I found the Logitech G700 will fulfill my needs together with the Logitech K800 Wireless Illuminated keyboard.

Thanks anyway.

Actually, I never knew you have the same equipment! :Big Grin: I'm probably just the same as you; we do some good research before buying stuff so we always end up with the best choice.
