Can't find FSX Location

Recommended Posts

I tried to update GEX from 1.09 to version 1.096, which requires a complete reinstall of the product. Has anyone succesfully done this? I get to the point where I try to open the interface. It asks for my fsx.exe path, which I have in my main P3D folder, and which I point it to, but it does not seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated....

Gex is SPECIFICALLY NOT licensed for use in P3d and, as such, has incorporated a few tricks in their code which will prevent it from operating properly.

Well I suspected as much, which is quite unfortunate since I spent quite a bit of money on their products, a product which can work perfectly well with P3D. It is one thing to say that the product is not for use with P3D and that GEX won't offer support for it, but to go out of their way to make it so that it can't be used is another.

They are releasing a P3D specific product possibly this month or next. No pricing or upgrade info available.
