February 9, 201313 yr Good evening guys. Only been flying this big bird a couple of days on & off after purchasing it earlier this week, spent most of the time trying to tweak FSX to get it to run smoother (in general). So now I'm carrying out my first proper test of this aircraft, FSX and some addon destination airport scenery (UK2000 Cardiff Extreme) and all seems pretty reasonable at the moment. At present, I'm currently at FL360, ground speed of 517kts (280kts at alt) and a 69kt cross wind, and looking at my EICAS, I can see my elevator is pretty much stuck in the down position, with the odd exception when the aircraft slows sufficiently for it to start to move again. Aircraft is cruising at an AOA of approx 0.5 deg nose up, and no other noticeable issues. Anyone noticed this problem before? Have had a quick search of the forum, but could not spot anything, and wanted to get this question up before laptop battery dies completely. Chris Jones PMDG Order No: 217840
February 9, 201313 yr Are you loading a non-complex aircraft for your FSX default flight, and then switching to the PMDG B747? Are you loading fuel and payload using the PMDG Load Manager?
February 9, 201313 yr Author Are you loading a non-complex aircraft for your FSX default flight, and then switching to the PMDG B747? Are you loading fuel and payload using the PMDG Load Manager? No, selected the aircraft from the main menu, then set fuel from Add-on/PMDG drop down, and set off from there. Chris Jones PMDG Order No: 217840
February 13, 201313 yr I suggest searching for and reading other threads about similar issues and trying some of the (numerous) solutions suggested. Otherwise, perhaps submitting a ticket to the official PMDG support desk is the best option.
