February 17, 201313 yr Hi would someone tell me how to set climb gradient on NGX please I can't seem to find it in FMC many thanks a reference in FCTM or similar. You can't set it in the FMC. You don't need to. The climb gradient is the minimum climb performance the aircraft should achieve. The takeoff performance data you enter in the FMC should produce climb gradient in excess of this minimum requirement.

February 17, 201313 yr I don't know what charts you are using, but usually, where specific climb gradient is required for a departure or missed approach, you will find a table with the required rate of climb for given speeds. If your speed is different just do a rough interpolation and add a bit. If struggling to meet that gradient, use LVL CHG and reduce your speed until you do.
