February 19, 201313 yr Have you recently deleted your fsx.cfg or is it possible that some program restored a backup of it? It might be that the line "SimObjectPaths.X=MyTraffic"(maybe the folder's name is slightly different, I can't check at the moment) is missing in the [MAIN] section of the fsx.cfg, whcih could be related to the two things I mentioned above. The only other solution I can come up with is to reinstall MTX. Regards, Flo Florian

February 22, 201313 yr Is there any chance that one of your recently installed addons brought some flight plan files in FS9 format into your sim? This may happen when you install some freeware traffic. The presence of one single FS9 flight plan file will immediately force FSX to only display traffic based on flight plans in the older format, don't ask me why. I don't know what exactly "VFR vol9" is or does, but Never mind, I think I've found it, and if I am right that it's actually VFR GenX vol9, that's not the culprit, neither are REX and Scenerytech Landclass. February 22, 201313 yr Check for FS9 traffic files. They are written in a different structure and if loaded with your scenery will disable FSX AI. AI traffic is handled like any scenery in FSX, so you can try disabling your addon sceneries to see if traffic returns. This will not work if the traffic file has been installed into your Scenery>World>Scenery folder, because that is activated with every start of FSX. AI Flight Planner will convert traffic files between versions, but I do not know if it will locate incompatibles. For that, I use a small tool that was supplied with an early version of a JustFlight TrafficX, called "TrafficX_BGLcheck.exe." It will scan all activated scenery folders and flag the incompatibles.
