Can windows update cause crash?

Recommended Posts

I have a fault with activesky2012 and hifi says it's to do with a recent windows update that change the font of windows.

I noticed before I had 3 FSX crashes that the numbers in the overhead panel were larger than usual.

Could this lead to a crash?

I've had it to happen before.

I just went into Windows Update and "uninstalled" the latest update and it fixed the problem.

If it doesn't, Windows Update will again try to update - IF the update caused the problem, just highlight that update, right click and click "hide"..

and you won't be bothered again....IF that update was not causing the problem, let it install again.

Good Luck,

cthiggin
