Hi all,

 

I have tried various things to get rid of clouds that form on the ground to no avail. I use ASE for my weather. Has anyone noticed what settings whether in FSX or ASE that will get rid of them? Even on normal scattered cloud days I have a bunch of clouds that are at 0 MSL and I don't like the unrealistic look.

I just had that effect on a flight earlier today and thought it would be great for all those people who complain that they can't see fog until they're in it. Some clouds look better at this than others.

 

I've occasionally seen clouds at 0' AGL, but never at 0' MSL.

Sorry. Meant AGL. These are fog clouds but the weather is otherwise clear but for scattered clouds. I want them gone.

Turn off random and CAVOK clouds.
