new update beta and plan-g

Featured Replies

I use plan-g for flight planing and also as a moving map both operating on the same pc with 2 monitors attached. It has worked fine till I got the new beta today, I re-installed plan-g and the plug in ... no go.

anyone had this trouble or can tell me what I may have overlooked?

Thanks,

Scot

Hello Scot,

I just checked Plan-G here, (Ver 3.0 build 51) with XPlane 10.20. All is well.

What specifically is not working? Do the two connect? Is XPUIPC invoked? (from plan-g).

You said you re-installed PlanG, you don't have two copies do you?

Thanks for the speedy reply,

I did not have XPUIC invoked for some reason this had defaulted back to simconnect. As I had stated before all was normal until I did the update. I did check to make sure that in fact I am only running one version of Plan-G. After a couple hours further of stupidity on my part, I enabled the "run as administrator" tab on the short cut and all was well. This is a great program and I get alot of use out of it.

Thanks again big time for the help!!

Scot
