March 1, 201313 yr Hi folks, I have a strange issue. I usually have two monitors attached to my computer via ATI Radeon HD 6870 graphic card and eventually (when I fly), I connect a CDU hardaware via motherboard VGA port, which resumed in three monitors. The strange thing is in Win 7 Screen Resolution menu I see 4 monitors. If I click "Identify" button, then I see 1, 2 on main displays and 4 on the CDU display. So, where is #3?? I need to solve this since I'm having problems when I try to position the NGX CDU window (once FSX loaded) into my CDU monitor (from www.flightdecksolutions.com). Please. check the picture below. March 1, 201313 yr well not being at your house we can not tell you WHERE #3 monitor is located. you should be able to somehow force the CDU to use #3, but I'm not 100% sure how to go about setting that up. From what I see in your picture, #3 is Disconnected, your computer probably created #4 to handle the CDU being that #3 is disconnected....... that is if I am looking at it correctly.
March 1, 201313 yr Author well not being at your house we can not tell you WHERE #3 monitor is located. Obviously, when I say "where", I'm referring to where is the monitor within the Screen resolution manager on the computer, not physically. Your response helped me anyway. Will try to find the way to disconnect the #3 or to force the CDU to use it. Thanks!! Ivan Lewis PMDG B737NGX, B777 and B747v3 QOTS II
March 1, 201313 yr could it possibly be that somehow you are or were using at one time, an Iphone, or Tablet of some kind as a monitor for SOMETHING... GPS or whatever..?? Maybe you just forgot about it, and didnt turn it on.
March 4, 201313 yr Dirty bird is correct, It hasn't gone anywhere  you have monitor 3# listed in the 'display' tab and below, that it is 'disconnected', so it has jumped to 4. just change that in multiple display tab. Ron.
