  1. Thanks for the useful info, Rob. Have a great day, guys B)
  2. No prob, Eduardo. Somehow once the PMDG planes are installed by first time on your computer and you enter your key, don't mind how many times you uninstall and reinstall the software after that. It won't ask you for the key number again. I might be wrong but I'm talking from my own experience.
  3. Hi Eduardo, I'm afraid that reached that point, your definitive solution gonna be reinstall either Win7 or 10 from scratch, install the sim and finally the PMDG planes. Note that addons installation process under Win7, works with a different routine than Win10 and probably with your Windows upgrade without uninstall/reinstall, several things got messed. Actually I'm flying the NGX and 777 in P3D v3.3 only under Win10. No issues at all. But when I decided (three months ago) to jump from Win7 to 10, I did it in the long way: uninstall every single addon, uninstall the sim, install Win10 and start from scratch. I first installed FSX:SE and PMDG stuff to test the new OS. No issues. Then I've removed the addons, uninstalled FSX, installed P3D and addons and voilà. I perfectly know that this manner could take ages but I'm sure that is the most successful way to avoid odd things occurs. Hope this helps. Happy flying
  4. +1
  5. Next PMDG projects with higest priority in my wish list: - NGX and 777 for X-Plane 10 and/or 11. That will definitely kill my P3D and FSX copies... :Raised Eyebrow:
  6. Hi, Although it's clearly stated that PMDG products and almost (not all of them) FS addons, shouldn't be used for real aviation training, IMO, the true is that addons like PMDG helps a lot to understand the certain airframe logic. Become in a real life B737, B777 or B747 pilot is not only insanely expensive but you need to have a good profile for that, study a lot of theory for your exams and deal with diverse factors that unfortunately (or not) flight simulation will never could bring us (e.g: real fear of deal with heavy cross winds during final approach with 150 real people under your entire responsibility). But the knowledge of systems, some procedures and roughly the understanding about how the machine works is seriously accurate with addons like PMDG. A combo of PMDG B737/777/747v2 + Active Sky Next + Orbx + Vectors + any of those hundreds of ultra detailed airports out there is something really inmersive and with no doubt, something that really could helps in real training. I'll never be an airline pilot (too late for that, very expensive and very happy and satisfied with my professional life) but I'm feel extremely lucky to have flight simulation and the way it allows me to approach into aviation while I'm gettin' tons of fun. Safe landings captains B)
  7. Hi captains, One question: is there any way to install MMMX and MUHA (FSX versions) from Taxi2gate over P3Dv3? I've tried with MigrationTool but what I've got was an airport without buildings, only taxiways and runways. I've also visited the T2G website but nothing that helps. Thanks in advance and Merry Xmas to all.
  8. Hi Ron, Thousands of us are regularly flying on VATSIM. I fact, many of us only do online flights. I don't know exactly what you're asking for. The first VATSIM experience could be a bit overwhelming but you'll love it right away. Once you learn the routine of a VATSIM/IVAO flight, you won't get back to offline flights. Visit the VATSIM site (www.vatsim.net). There you will find all you need to start to fly online. The new interface to connect (vPilot) is pretty easy to use and seems as rock stable. Welcome and enjoy the online flying!
  9. I swear it. When I started to reading the lines talking about the PMDG hiring policy, right away Kyle came into my mind. Congratulations Kyle and congrats too, PMDG Team!!! Since quite some time ago, this fact was going forging. Please RSR, let Kyle keep doing his SYSK videos. Once again, Congrats to PMDG and his new member!!
  10. I've also learned a lot (an still do) with Kyle. Have you checked out the SYSK series? You must do it, since the acronym itself say, that is Stuff You Shoud Know.
  11. Hi ooddoo (as I can't see your real name) If you wish to go beyond the line and want to become really proficient dealing with the NG FMC, I highly recommend you the FMC User's Guide book by Bill Bulfer. You can check here: http://www.cockpitcompanion.com/cat-fmc.cfm The book is about the real FMC, since addresses some (very few) features that aren't modeled in the NGX (e.g: PERFormance INITialization REQUEST feature) but believe me, I've found on this book the biggest 737NG FMC information/manual source. Price? $55. It worth? Every penny.
  12. Hi Joe, Thanks for your answer. I've decided to do a clean install of everything. As you can guess, it's gonna be a loooong and boring process but if due to any reason, I have to install Windows, then I prefer to start from the beginning with FSX world installations. Cheers
  13. Hi Jim, I supposed that had to be that way. Thanks for your quick answer. Reinstall Windows, reinstall FSX, reinstall ALL addons I use...frustrating :t0117:
