March 8, 201313 yr I recently had to reinstall FSX and am having trouble connecting FSInn with my remote laptop. I uninstalled both FSInn and Copilot on both computers and did a registry cleaner to get rid of everything. I then rebooted both computers as well. After the install on both machines I cannot get FSInn to find the FSX application running. I have tried everything so many times that I am getting frustrated. I thought what the heck let's try running it on the FSX box. So I uninstalled and installed both on my FSX box. Still nothing when I run the FSInn control panel and then the FSInn program.I have run this program for over a year on this same combination of computers. The issue with the reinstall of FSX was due to me getting a new video card and having issues with DX10. The reinstall fixed the DX10 issue but may have broken FSInn.Thanks,John John P. March 8, 201313 yr There is a dedicated FSInn forum over on the VATSIM forums, you will probably find an answer there Jay
March 8, 201313 yr Some addon programs require at least the free version of FSUIC to connect to FSX (for example Plan G and FSCommander). Henri Henri Arsenault
March 8, 201313 yr Author I have tried VATSIM and they are no help. I have the paid version of FSUIPC, but FSInn does not require it. Thanks, John John P. Navara PP ASEL-IA - 1975 Piper Arrow II Owner Complex, HP & Tailwheel endorsements https://twitch.tv/Sim_Dude
March 9, 201313 yr There are numerous posts about similiar issues, is this the forum you checked? http://forums.vatsim.net/viewforum.php?f=43 Jay
March 9, 201313 yr Author Problem fixed. It seems that the installer didn't install the fscoplit.dll into the FSX/Modules folder. I copied one from a previous install and everything is fine.John John P. Navara PP ASEL-IA - 1975 Piper Arrow II Owner Complex, HP & Tailwheel endorsements https://twitch.tv/Sim_Dude
