September 6, 200421 yr I'm eager to hear about it.Only thing I'm unsure of is that all those buildings... will probably KILL my framerate on my old creaky rig.The whole thing looks pretty intriguing, though.Andrew H e l p k e e p A V S I M f l y i n g

September 9, 200421 yr Yeah, just saw that. I think it's great that someone has done the LLRV but I can do without the fictional storyline. The whole approach they are taking makes me question the fidelity of thier creation. The LLRV was a beast to fly and almost killed Neil Armstrong when he had to eject at something like 200' because of a stuck thruster. It certainly never left the small test area and don't get me started about showing it landing on the moon! Ahhhh marketing......TonyDigital-Flight
September 9, 200421 yr Author I guess one of the things that has me really interested is that I'd love to see a version of the Spinner from Blade Runner working, and this -sort of- seems like the closest thing aside from the "Supercar"...cheersAndrew H e l p k e e p A V S I M f l y i n g
September 9, 200421 yr Oh, it's the Lunar Landing Research Vehicle. I can't think of a use for that in FS. Anyway, here's a site with more info on ejections:http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionary.com/...ace%20disasters
September 10, 200421 yr That's an interesting page, thanks for the link.On the LLRV, it would be fun to try to fly it although I'm not sure that it's possable to get the dynamics 100% right in MSFS.TonyDigital-Flight
September 10, 200421 yr I'm guessing that it might be like a copter, but not something to use to fly from place to place for any distance, but who knows?
September 11, 200421 yr I saw it and was singularly unimpressed. It looks like a helicopter model and some scenery - I don't need to pay a ridiculous amount of money for that.
September 11, 200421 yr Author I think there is a P38 in there, too. H e l p k e e p A V S I M f l y i n g
November 3, 200520 yr I just purchased LunarPilot. I have a lot of payware addons, but this is definitely one of the most unique to FS2004. If you can manage FS2004 helicopters, then you can handle the LLRV, though it appears to be a little more unforgiving. That said, it's a gas to fly.The scenery is fantasy, but it's extremely well done and a lot of fun to explore. Thus far I'm impressed. :)-- WaltFlying FS9.1 at 1600x1200x32Intel Pentium 4 640 HT 3.20GHzWindows XP Pro SP21GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz (2x512M)256MB PCI Express x16 ATI Radeon X850 XT PECatalyst 5.9 drivers for Windows XPDirectX 9.0cViewSonic P95f+ 19 inch Ultrabrite CRT MonitorSound Blaster Audigy2 ZSCreative I-Trigue 2.1 3300 SpeakersSaitek Gamers Keyboard USBMS ForceFeedback 2 joystick USB
