March 10, 201313 yr Will these specs run FSX relatively smoothly: Intel Core i3-3110M 2.4 GHz (6 MB Cache) 6 GB DDR3 750 GB 5400 rpm Hard Drive 17.3-Inch Screen, Intel HD Graphics 4000 Windows 8, 3.45-hour battery life Cheers Dylan Dylan Leonard
March 10, 201313 yr With an i3, I doubt it. I can't really get good performance with FSX, and I'm using an i5 along with 8 gigabytes of RAM. Although I don't know the difference between the Intel HD Graphics 3000 and 4000, as I have the 3000. I gave up with FSX and stuck with FS9. March 10, 201313 yr Why don't you load it it and give it a go, you might be suprised? There are benchmarks showing a 55% increase in performance in some tests between HD 3000 and HD 4000.

If he doesn't have it, that might be a little hard to do. Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off. Live streams of my flights here.
