Hi Rich, I don't see any issues using this screen, it's like two screens merged together, 2560x1080. You get a wider desktop, and if you experiment with FSX in windowed mode and pull a window 2 1/2 W by 1 H, that's what you get, apart from in full screen uses all the pixels. The increase in throughput should barely be noticed, assuming you have a good GPU.

Steve thank you got the horse power on my rig but never use windowed mode only full screen will it be ok in full screen buddy ? will it use the whole screen know black area ? read that Assassin's Creed 3 will not display full-screen - but doubt fsx will have that problem.

It's about the same stress as adding a 2nd monitor. I've not seen one in action, but I do know they are going out to FSX users. Full screen should work unaffected.
