Question on the FS2Crew for NGX and the PMDG MD11?

I'm sure this is more of a Windows 8 thing than FS2Crew, however the FS2Crew NGX (and NGX Emergency) add-ons are the only changes I have knowingly made to my system. I am loving the interaction with Fs2Crew with the NGX, and it works well- however my PMDG MD11 now doesn't load with a CTD. I'm not necessarily attributing this to the FS2Crew add-ons,just trying to fid a solution to my problem (I have also posted on the PMDG forums).

 

AppCrashView reports the module with the error as PMDG_MD11_ACS.DLL. I don't know this .dll enough to understand what it does, etc....

Hi Bruce,

 

PMDG_MD11_ACS.DLL is a PMDG file.

 

Just try re-installing MD-11 first.

 

Re-installs often clear up a lot of weird issues.

 

 

It's highly unlikely Win 8 is an issue, but you never know.  Best to ask PMDG as well.

 

 I run Win 8, but I don't have the MD-11 currently installed.

Thanks- yes, I will chalk it up to another Windows gremlin and re-install.

 

Thanks for your help.  I really love the FS2Crew product for FSX, it really adds emmersion.
