shockwave lights

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Need some help here please. I am trying to get my shockwave lights to work on the A36, but for some reason the Beacon and strobe don't want to play. I am using the config done by twowolves. The nav, landing, taxi along with the VC all work fine. Here is his config.

[lights]

//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landinglight.

1 = 2, -9.0, -15.2, 1.6, fx_shockwave_strobe,light.

Why this:

1 = 2, -9.0, -15.2, 1.6, fx_shockwave_strobe,light.

Should the "light" not stand before the number?

When i look at another examle for FSX Carenado right from the A2A webpage:

[LIGHTS]
light.0 = 3, 0.3, -16.850, 0.75, fx_navredcarbonV
light.1 = 3, 0.5, 16.850, 0.75, fx_navgrecarbonV ,
light.2 = 2, 0.2, -16.718, 0.75, fx_shockwave_strobe_nl ,
light.3 = 2, 0.15, 16.850, 0.75, fx_shockwave_strobe_nl_2 ,
light.4 = 1, -6.50, 0.05, 2.8, fx_beaconcarbonV
light.5 = 2, -17.6, -0.05, 0.90, fx_navwhicarbonV ,
light.6 = 2, -17.4, -0.05, 0.90, fx_strobecarbonV ,
light.7 = 4, 1.0, 0.00, 1.10, fx_vclightcarbonV,
light.8 = 5, 7.6, 0.00, -1.75, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_no_flare,
