Will 'MissingLibraryAlert=1' work in FS9?

Featured Replies

I am aware of its use in FSX.CFG. I read some threads that simmers could actually resume their flights after it popped up, in my case, G3D.DLL error. SO, will it work for FS9. I posted this G3D.DLL specific thread on FS2004 forum. So, Im sorry if this seems to be the wrong place.

Cheers

Yes, that works in FS9.

No, it is not the cause of G3D.dll crashes.

Missing libraries will simply cause library objects to not appear, not crash the sim.

Hey Joe. Thanks, will add it asap. I think I didn't explain it well. What I was trying to say, I am recently having persistent G3D.dll 20 miles from FRA (Aerosoft MA), the crashes caused by G3D.dll. Been troubleshooting and repeating the flights for 5 times, I always got the ctd.

So, when it crashes again, it will allow me to resume the flight, am I wrong?

I'm not sure, but I doubt it.

The only thing that line in the FS9/X.cfg does is throw a warning screen when FS can't find a library object. Clicking OK on the warning screen resumes the flight, but I don't think this is going to have anything to do with your crash.
